A proposal by staff at the Ottawa Carelton District School Board to relocate students at Queenswood Public School and Dunning-Foubert in Queenswood Heights was defeated in the Committee of the Whole meeting last night. The original proposal called for the all English Public children from JK to Grade 3 to attend Queenswood Public School and all the Grade 4 to Grade 8 students to attend Dunning-Foubert. Each offering dual track programs with both English and French Immersion.

Queenswood Public School Advisory Committee will be hosting its Annual Community Garage Sale on Saturday , June 3, from 8:00 am to Noon.

Queenswood Heights resident and former member of he QHCA David N Primeau has been appointed as the new Trustee for Orléans- Cumberland , to replace Sheryl MacDonald. MacDonald resigned when she ran in the December by-election for city councillor.
