I volunteered last September to be President of the Queenswood Heights Community Association as I believe we need to continue the excellent work through this Association and establish a community network for the people of Queenswood Heights.
My wife and I with our two children moved to Queenswood Heights in 1993 and we were actively involved in the community, in schools, church, Scouts, Guides, etc…. Our children got to participate in community events, and now our grandchildren are growing up in Queenswood Heights.
We started out with our first music festival in August 2022, restarted the Community Association monthly meetings and established a good working relationship with our Councilors, Matt Luloff and Laura Dudas. Together we are moving forward and building the future of Queenswood Heights, but our community’s future is not in the hands of our councilors, it is in the hands of the people of Queenswood Heights. I will gladly lead our Association, but I can only lead with the support and advice of our Queenswood Heights neighbors!
The pandemic might have locked us down, but now it is time to come together and move forward!
We have accomplished so much and can accomplish so much more! Come be part of the future, let’s create an environment for our community that we can all be proud of.
I look forward to hearing from you about your vision for our future!
Finally, I’d like to invite you to our monthly meeting, which takes place at 7PM on the first Wednesday of the month at the community center (1485 Duford).
Please take the time to check in on our Facebook page where we try to keep everyone informed of the latest!
I look forward to hearing from you!
